An old establishment refurbished under new management with a large variety of choice. The staff are very helpful with nothing being to much trouble. The building is on the edge of the Parkgate shore line over looking the Welsh shoreline.
Not great my mum ordered a carvery last Friday evening. Cold food served on cold plate rock hard Yorkshire pudding. Mum didn't eat anymore of it. Manager was polite about it and refunded it without question. I had the double hot burger which was good. Which redeemed score a little.
This is a place for quick service and low prices. The carvery is very good value but vegetables always lukewarm. Other dishes are individually prepared so more likely to be hot. Draught beer is variable quality, sometimes OK, but not always good. Last time I was there all pumps had Doom Bar on them.
Took our Scout Troop for our annual Christmas party. The staff were excellent, looked after us really well. There were 35 in our party so we kept them busy. The food was great too
Cheap and cheerful food.The carvery is always up to a decent standard and the pizzas are freshly baked and prepared. It's cheap, the staff are nice and you have the option of sitting outside to eat - considering the view that's on offer, it's a real selling point of this place.
