Lovely old historic pub in a very good position in Old Neston.Beer pretty good but they need to take hold of cooking smells of fat in particular which ruins what was a good atmospheric pub.
Nice little pub with excellent views . Reminded me of the film an American werewolf in London . Where they walked in the pub and everyone stops talking to look at the strangers coming in . Plenty of outside seating perfect for summer days and nights . And a roaring fire for the cold dark ones . Dog friendly too .
Whenever I visit the Wirral I love coming here. Brilliant wee pub on the edge of the marshes. Great ale - Landlord is my favourite - and a special corner of beautiful England. My laddie lives in Chester now so we will hopefully have plenty of opportunities to frequent this treasure. Aye. Fraser.
Fantastic traditional pub. Great ales at fair prices. Superb food from the lovely Landlady and friendly team. Lord Burton and I recommend it.
Old fashioned pub, with good beer and the Tuesday curry night are fantastic. ( not sure if they do the curries during the winter season ) The views when sat outside are amazing and watching the starlings swarm is breath taking.
