Cafe a bit over priced, poorly staffed and tables not cleared timely or properly cleaned. Food festival on today which was disappointing. Far too many of the stalls with tasters kept well out of reach if any at all and not given readily :- therefore I won't be buying your produce.

Always a lovely place to visit. A great choice for home, garden, hobbies etc. A little pricey at times, but excellent quality. Staff are helpful and friendly. Of course there is a coffee shop/Cafe, and it's worth going just for the cake. One of the best garden centres around, highly recommend.

Essentially a nursery but almost department store like in its mix of merchandise. An upmarket store excellent in its primary function as a nursery. The plants are wonderful. There is a small park with pond, peacocks and guinea fowl. Merchandise, inside, ranges from greetings cards to conservatory furniture. The card selection is excellent. Books and all manner of gifts are offered. The self service restaurant is now rather old fashioned. Its canteen like tables and layout rather let's the Gordale experience down. Worse is that the toilets which are next to the kitchen and eating area are window less and without a fan of any sort. Wheelchairs can be borrowed at the store entrance.

A good garden centre with a wide choice of garden supplies and gifts, though in the winter the amount of plants etc seems limited. A nice restaurant with good food and drinks choices. There is also a very good food section.

Always lovely to visit Gordale especially this time of year. While there we had lunch. Food very good BUT by the time you get served, collect cutlery etc and find a table my soup had gone virtually cold and my friend had to take her baked potato back because it was hard in the middle. I think either a new system needs implementing or I would go and pay for food I want and get table, THEN go and get food. I'm sure others will have had the same problem.
